Debate-Team Guest
Pick a side. Defend it.
The ideal debate guest does not hide behind safe answers. You choose a position, defend it clearly, respond to criticism, and confront the strongest arguments from the other side.
You may be an excellent debate guest if:
- People immediately know where you stand.
- You regularly express opinions others disagree with.
- You have firsthand experience with the issue being discussed.
- You enjoy challenging conventional poker wisdom.
- You can turn complicated ideas into clear arguments.
- You are comfortable interrupting — and being interrupted — within the show’s rules.
- You can handle sarcasm, pressure, disagreement, and public scrutiny.
- You know how to command attention without losing control.
- You can be entertaining without manufacturing a false position.
- You are willing to defend an unpopular opinion.
- You have a poker rival, critic, or philosophical opposite who belongs across the table from you.
